Vtila is named after the Ukrainian word втілити(vtilyty) — meaning “to embody, to bring to life.” We believe creative tools should help you bring your vision to life without barriers — no cost, no installs, no privacy compromises.
What Vtila Does
Vtila is a professional-grade image editor that runs entirely in your web browser. It supports layers, brushes, selections, filters, PSD files, PDF import/export, and a suite of AI-powered tools — all processed locally on your device.
Your images are never uploaded anywhere. Every operation — from basic cropping to AI background removal — happens right in your browser using WebAssembly and the Canvas API.
AI That Respects Privacy
Our AI tools (background removal, upscaling, object removal, depth maps, bokeh, and style transfer) use neural network models that run locally via ONNX Runtime and Hugging Face Transformers. Models are downloaded once and cached in your browser — no API keys, no cloud processing, no data collection.
